Recently I have my SR dropped in but I have no luck finding a DOHC cluster...my shop was trying to hook up a Pivot tach as a solution but couldn't get it to work in any possible way. They said the SR runs in individual coils and they couldn't wired it up to a distrubutor like how they did for other cars. I've seen numberous SR with aftermarket tach installed I know it can be done. Can someone pls tell me the right way to get this to work? Thanks in advance!

I know some of you must have a Autometer tach or some kind of aftermarket tach installed. Driving around without knowing the RPM is a really frustrating experience!!Somebody PLEASEEEEEEE help me out here!!!

There is a wire coming out of the cpu that sends the stock tach its signal...

Generally, you just tap into this wire and you are good. It works for my autometer....

I can get the schematic for it 2morrow if you need.
