Hi, I'm thinking of buying some front, and rear sway bars for my zenki 240sx, and was wondering which brand to focus on? I searched all over nico, and found that the following brands are popular for sway bars. (I typed up a thought bubble that generalizes nico's opinions on these brands from the search I've done).

- Progress sway bars (supposedly very very good)- Technique sway bars (meh...)- Largus sway bars (meh...)- Tanabe sway bars (I read it's good)- Cusco sway bars (I read this is also good)- Whiteline sway bars (supposedly the end links are terrible)- God Speed Sway bars (meh...)

Out of all those choices, the progress sway bars sounds to be the best, but can I get more opinions on it?

And let me know if I may be missing any other good brands. Thanks in advance, help would be greatly appreciated.

Just get Progress and be done with it. Progress is the best bang for the buck.

You sound like you know how things stand. I was going to get the white lines, but to upgrade the endlinks is about the same cost as the bars themselfs. So i bought myself a pair of progress. The stats are the same as whiteline accross the board, but progress comes with good endlinks.

Out of all those I would probably go with Tanabe.

Cusco is rather small. (I bought them for my first S14)

Largus is SUPER hard to get.

Tanabe is like Largus, but easily found.

The other stuff sounds like a crap. No thanks.

So what's the difference in your opinion between progress and tanabe? What makes tanabe blow progress out the water?

Haha, awesome. I have a base model s14 which means.... My car doesn't come with stock rear sway bar. So does the progress sway bars usually come with the clamps that hold the big bushings to the frame, and the 'D' brackets? Let me know man, thanks.

Yup... base here too. Best I can remember they didn't come with the rear D brackets but I have some laying around if you need them LMK.

Hmm alright, cool. Yeah i'll probably need some D brackets for the rears only (cause the front has the D brackets). But alright thanks a lot, good to know that it comes with most of the stuff, and that i'll only need to buy one extra thing to go along with it.

I can't see how anyone can screw up a sway bar. It's a chunk of metal with fittings and bushings.

What I did was strip the paint off of the OEM bar, repaint it and buy MOOG links.

I don't think PROGRESS is a Japanese brand.

I pretty much only buy Japanese parts for my Japanese car.

Stupid reason probably, but so far I've never been let down.

Your car. Go for whatever you want.
