aftermarket sunroof. how can i get rid of it?

I bought a car off of ebay. I trust the ebay seller so thats why I did this. The car ended up excellent, BUT, they never told me it had an "aftermarket" sunroof installed on the car. Aftermarket sunroofs are very problematic. They never fit right and make noise and sometimes leak. The one on my 240 makes noise because its not seated right. I would love to get rid of this. Does anyone know how to get rid of this? What can be done and has anyone here gotten rid of their sunroof before? Thanks, J

why not just get the seal fixed? Only alternitive is welding the hole shut and repainting.

you could get a factory one and try to make it work, but it would be tough. you could get a plug made for the factory one that you could seal up more easily. rare trick has one from kognition design. http://www.raretrick.com/index...=7607
