so I'm in the middle of working on swapping a VH45 into my z32 and I'm doing so simply because I found it to be a more reliable option in comparison to a twin turbo motor (because of the use of a timing chain, rather than belt). Also, I figured it could be done for around the same price, if not cheaper. But the one and only thing I dislike about my choice was the lack of aftermarket support. But! I figure since nissan has so many interchangeable parts between their chassis and engines, there must be aftermarket parts made for another engine that would work great with little to no modification. Basically why I'm asking is because I've heard that the fuel injectors from the vh are found in sr20's and vg30's alike, and that the cam shafts are actually the same as found in the sr20, (I don't remember where I heard this, otherwise I would site the source). and I also wanted to know if anyone knew the sizes of the stock pulleys on the VH45, and if there were any engines out there with an identical set of pulleys, or even just the crank pulley? I've already got an upgraded clutch and flywheel, and soon a lightweight driveshaft, but these are all parts for the VG. I'd really like to have the ability to keep adding power once I get comfortable with my set up.any help would be great!thanks,-Julian.

SR20 cams don't fit. Only things that I know of that does fit are Z32 flywheels as you have already found out.

About the only way you are going to make more power is to change cams and make some decent extractors.

The VH is kinda a 'hands on' engine, and by that, I mean you learn to make stuff pretty quickly when you use one of these motors in a transplant.
