So I have searched the forums on how to do this. I have a sub and amp running off of my stock Bose HU. But it is not loud enough. I tapped it into the speaker wires from the rear deck. My understanding from reading is that if I were to tap into the rear side speakers the sub should pound better? Right now I honestly cannot tell the difference with or without the sub. I'd like to keep the stock HU if possible. Please clarify if this is correct. I don't want to go through all this work for nothing. Much Thanks!

Do all G's with Bose system have these speakers? My understanding is that there are only 8 speakers.

That doc is for his G37 convertible.

You should be able to use the wires off the factory sub. Are you using line-level inputs via your amp and are the gains properly set? What is the amp and sub model/brand?
