So im changing my struts to tokico blues but im not so sure about the springs. My stockers have 100k on them but if i were to go aftermarket im just worried the ride will be too harsh. Now i dont mind more perforamcne but with those struts will some intrax or eibachs make the ride harsh? Any one with have this specific setup? Ive read some threads about how good the handling is but how bad do you feel the road?

. i run tokico hp - blue with stock springs - stiffer shock, handles better but you'll feel bumps in the road. will be changing springs to tein s tech's sometime to drop it about 2" - common setup because very affordable.

Springs are generall designed to last pretty much the life of the car. Once you replace the struts, you should notice a difference in the ride quality, but it won't be dramatic. Basically, it's up to you if you want to have a stiffer ride by going with aftermarket springs.

I have Eibachs on my 92 Maxima (also Tokico blue struts) and the ride is firmer than stock, but it's not bad. I have been in some cars with much, much stiffer springs and it gets kind of annoying. I drive my car maybe every 2 months on a trip over 2 hours and it doesn't drive me crazy.
