How do I go about wiring the 3rd brake light on a aftermarket spoiler that doesnt have a plug on end of wires to plug into the harness the inside window 3rd brake light uses . I have heard stories if you splice the wires and dont use the plug then every time you step on the brake a BULB OUT error shows...Is this true ?

you can probably run a relay. that way it doesn't draw much from the stock voltage/amps
