I just purchased aftermarket seats for my 93 HB. Has anyone done an install on these. There are humps in the floor where the factory seats bolt in. I can cut out the passenger side bracket and just bolt the seat down, but on the driver side there is a raised area where the exhaust goes. I have an aftermarket exhaust and the indentation is empty. Should I just bet it with a hammer? Are there factory brackets to fit an aftermarket seat? (I would prefer this) Any suggestions?

if it's the bottom mount reclinables, you can get Sparco (i.e. Wedge Engineering) Brackets from your favorite place, whether on ebay or some local shop. If it's a corbeau, you need corbeau ones.

If it's a sidemount, you need side mount ones, etc.

You can custom fab, but you will need to weld/deweld - stock rails do not bolt up to aftermarket seats - that's something the sellers sometimes forget to tell you since they want to take your money.
