I've searched far and wide (supposedly) for rb25det valves springs/guides and valves for the RB25det and haven't been able to find anything yet. Thus far, i've only found things for the rb20/rb26's and it's pretty damn frustrating cuz it's gettin hard to find parts for the rb25det.

In addition to this, has anybody here been able to source out headstuds for the RB25det? ARP or other brands???

thanks 93semax, i was thinking about ferrea valves, but they dont do one off's and if they do, they'd charge some insane amount. As you can tell, i'm lookin for a revvable RB25DET :) Thanks for the tip with the tomeis.

You could write JUN. They have been very helpful when I have asked them questions in the past.

Whatever your redline is... make sure that your turbo is mapped accordingly. It may exceed your efficiancy range if you rev are reving too high (dunno... but it could)... that and you have to watch out for the efficiancy of your water pump and oil pump at those RPM's... the last two are why Supra's don't go much past the 7k range (even though the rest of the motor can easily do it... according to http://www.mkiv.com).

I don't think 8k is out of the question though since that is where the GTR is. I would write HKS, APEXi, TODA, or JUN about this subject and see what they say. Let us know if you find something out!

Any idea what would be needed to get a RB26 to rev past 10,000rpm? Valve springs? Cams?

Yaj, i checked out the takakaira site http://www.takakaira.com search for the performance parts, jun/hks/trust are among the common parts for the RB25det. I'm also lookin at flywheels. Gotta free up some power somehow. Anyway, if there's more than just takakaira, please list online shops. As for the RB26dett springs, must check up on that! thanks for the tips guys!

A lot of the multi-plate clutches come with flywheels. Are you looking for a seperate lightened flywheel and clutch?

I have read some things that say if you want to run the RB26 at high revs be sure to replace the oil pump cuz the stock one doesnt like putting out alot of oil in the upper rpm's, like I said this is something that I read(cant comfirm), but the new oil pump has a different gear so it can pump more, forgot who made it though.

A balanced knife-edged crank would help a lot. They also make various balancing devices. check out extra-vermiti(sp?) website.

Sorry man, thats my fault for changing it to the RB26 thing....have you checked the Apexi Japan site? I believe they have a few things....I did notice lots for the RB25 on the Japan versions of sites like HKS, Greddy/Trust, etc....just need to get a translator/decoder or whatever it is so you can read all the stuff....there's definatly not as much for the RB25...try checking the Skylines Downunder site, i'm sure some of the GTS-T guys could help ya....
