Just picked up a 2005 Murano today, well technically picking it up tomorrow, and have a question about aftermarket radios. I already have a Kenwood from my previous vehicle that I want to install, but if I am reading correctly I can't put one in the stock location? I want to keep the Kenwood as it has bluetooth, controls my Zune etc.

Worst comes to worst I can attempt to install it in a different location, but I would prefer not to go that route. Is it true that I have to keep the stock radio? I don't think it has Bose.

Thanks.

The AC controls are built into the radio panel. Lose the factory radio, lose a way to turn on your heater. :-(

I just saw this on another forum.

Metra has a kit to replace single or double DIN radios in the Murano. All HVAC and trip computer functions are maintained. It will be shipping in Dec/Jan.

You may have to call company to get information.
