My bose unit died about an hour after I got my car. It revived itself for awhile, playing cassette tapes and letting me listen to my MP3 player for awhile. Times were good. It died again and has yet to resurrect.

So I've got an aftermarket radio I want to jam in there and the plastic pocket, but the big question I have is how to wire things. I've read about a dozen threads here and elsewhere, but each one seems to give a different part and a different way of doing it.

I have an 1995 Infiniti J30 and my question is as follows: what harnesses work for wiring it to the system?

So far, the answers are "FAI-3a Scosche", "OEA-4 Scosche Adapter", or a "Metra 70-1764". Which one is it? Is that and an antenna adapter all you need? The Metra has RCA plugs, would that be the best one to just hook it up and forget it?
