Aftermarket radio/audio/speakers for Murano

In July '14 I bought a 2011 Murano SV (replaced my '05 Murano SL.) This SV is a great car but a stripped-down model -- few bells, whistles. Its non-Bose, factory radio performs badly -- changes stations back and forth often (it's not on Search.) Speakers produce low quality sound. Any suggestions for aftermarket audio replacement -- radio, speakers . . .? Not looking for finest state of the art, but just a good quality receiver and speakers. Bose says it won't sell its system as aftermarket (reputation protection.) How about installation services? Thanks.
