Does aftermarket pulleys really save gas or is it false?

They can by design.

You might be talking about a .5 - 1 mpg difference.

Yes on pulleys! One of the main reasons I got them. Add a flywheel and you'll be receive noticeable gains. I was getting 25-26cty and 31-32hwy in my NA days.

They're in my top 3 list of mods:1. Turbo Setup2. Flywheel3. Pullies

i thought i read somewhere that having lightweigth pullies and a lightweight flywheel can mess up your crank? like it can shake weird or something. is this true?

So getting it is not good? Pulleys are not good for the engine harmonics?

It ain't easy pimping pearl white... I'm looking for a Nismo spoiler to replace the OEM.

Anyways, it is true that the harmonic balancing is eliminated w/ a pulley set, but since they are balanced and I only road race/auto-x a handful of times a year, I don't worry about it. There are no horror stories regarding stresses/cracks/dismantling of engines due to pullies....
