I went to pepboys and bought some cheap 25 dollar pedals. I attempted to slap them on but they did not fit right. i am going try some really intense Velcro to try and get them to stay on.

I love them! Had them since week 2 of the car (had to order!)...they are custom made aluminum designed to fit exactly on your pedals.

I think both pedals ran me a bit over $100, but they are awesome - my brother has them for his mustang, and he loves them too.

I had originally emailed them about that, and they said that they did have the pedal sizes on file - I think the guy originally said to just use the maxima one's and then type in the notes that it was for an Altima.

It's the area on the left where you rest your left foot.

Nope. Here's what it looks like in a manual.

The piece of metal all the way on the left is the deadpedal and is simply there to keep your left foot rested while you're not using it to shift (with a manual).

With a CVT/Auto you never use your left foot. Ever. So it's nice to rest your foot on.

Its that like plastic looking rectangle where you rest your left foot...it's there for your to press your foot on when going through a corner to help stabalize your body in your seat. It's a nice little look to add, epecially when using aluminum pedals as it adds some look down in the footwell...but it does serve a real purpose on the track.

I had to readjust my driving style when i got my coupe. My last car had much more foot room(inch or so). there isnt much room down there for me to rest my foot.

Im gonna have to go out side and take another look at it.

How bout in the rain? Do these pedals give you trouble?

Nope - the metal is grooved out so it's anti-slip, and then the rubber inserts are also a non-slip rubber - it have much better traction on the pedals over the OEM ones...

I don't remember...it was like a year ago...it was around $130 though for everything I think...

Just email them and tell them the situation - that;s what I did, and they said that they had the measurements on file...the pedals fit perfectly over the stock ones. I believe the guy told me to just order off the maxima ones and then note on the order information page to put in that you have an altima coupe.
