i have searched and continue to do so but i cant seem to find any information regarding mods for the ka. im looking for a smoother, shinner intake manifold, with decent hp gains, throttle body with or with out spacers. ive checked some websites. im starting with my intake and working my way to the exhaust. so far i have a injen short ram intake which i hate because it pics up all that heat from the radiator. i plan on replacing the intake-throttle body-manifold, then springs, lifters and valves (intake and exhaust) then exhaust (headers) turbo it and and continue down to a catless system (registred vehicle in county without emission laws). i dont mind if i buy a couple diffrent intakes before i get to the turbo setup. besides do they even make a turbo kit for a 95 ka24de odb1... only seen kits for odb2 and what is the diffrence other than the o2 sensor?

If you are going to turbo the car, don't waste time w/ intakes and small things like that, only minimal gains.

Think more along the lines of bigger injectors, fuel pump, bigger turbo, forged internals, air/fuel management.

heres is the problem i run into, i spent alot of time talking to turbonetics and greddy. the only turbo kit made for a 95 ka24de is odbII. i have an ODBI. they say i need a power fc from apexi and they run about $850 a pop.. not including the $5k i have to spend on the turbo and installationplus even more money for the fc installation.... this is becoming quite a expensive hobby. im going to contact racerxmotorsports and see if they will pic up atleast 1/2 the bill.

for right now i wouldnt mind just upgrading the intake, intake manifold, beefing up the engine and a cat back to allow for my turbo and headers, plus the intake mani and throttle body would help right? i mean i already have an intake so its not like i would be throwing away money?

if youre worried about cash, the best way to save is to work on it yourself. labor prices are bull****, and you'll probably end up spending about as much as you spent on the parts to have them installed too. buy some basic tools and get workin!

the thing that concerns me is the electronic aspect of it and also drilling into the oil pan to run the line. i mean with everybodies help i could do it, i can turn a wrench but i feel that i want it done correctly becuase from what i gather you dont want to take chances with the lubrication and the electronics of a turbo...
