I used the search but didn't find what I was looking for. Apologies if this is an oft repeated topic. I also checked the FAQ's but didn't find anything. It could be that I don't know the language yet.

So, here's the deal. I don't like how the door handles feel cheap and plastic-ish so I'm wondering where I might find upgrades for them.

Also, I'm not entirely happy with the grill. I've found some online and I'm wondering if the installation is easy enough for a guy who has never even changed his own oil.

Any suggestions for other quick mods?

Thanks again!

I haven't heard of aftermarket door handles. Many paint it a different color or color match it with their car.

Changing the grill shouldn't be hard at all. You've used tools before right? Why you want to change it, or what you want to change it to, is beyond me. I will not tell you how your car should look like.

Quick mods: K&N drop in filter. No bloody knuckles there. And a good, cheap mod that will make your car happier.

Good luck!

if you can't change oil then everything is gonna be very expensive for you my friend. as for door handles the topic came up once before and the only thing the make are carbon fiber stick on covers. some quick and easy mods that are pretty easy for most of us wont be so easy for you theses are intake exhaust test pipes.

I imagine "chanting" is free if you have a decent voice.

A common customizing touch is shaving the door handles, and installing a remote door opener. The kits to install them are actually not that expensive but the bigger cost is the body work/repainting required to remove the remnants of the old door hardware when you remove them. It;ll be noticeable if you go the cheap route. You'll want a professional to do that work. I imagine you could also switch to a smaller door handle, but you'll still have the same body work issues.I hope that helps.

The results leave a lot to be desired too. I keep chanting for a new set of wheels (Work Meisters, but I'd settle for SSR Professors) and a new radar detector (Escort Passport 9500ci) but nothing seems to happen.

I think Holli is ignoring me.

By your measurement criteria swapping a set of tires out qualifies as both an expensive and difficult a/m modification since you're still waiting on it.

Chanting isn't enough, you gotta kill a goat, too. Well, I had to kill a goat and two chickens to get my Z.
