What did they say that they would do with your ECU. Did they say it could only be done with the Q45 Ecu. Can they do other cars?

Those guys are in the Everglades (West Miami) and I live on Miami Beach. I can go and check them out if you like, but it would have to be on the weekend as traffic is terrible trying to get out West in the evenings after work. I am waiting to get my Stillen ECU and I would be really curious to see how there programing compares, but I would need an extra 95 ECU with traction control to see the difference. I might be able to have them hookup my car to the computer and look on the charts/graphs to see where they can improve upon the Stillen program after it has been installed and just tell them that it is a stock ECU to play a little placebo type study as the Stillen/JWT ECU should be already maxed out. I spoke to STillen about the ECU code a while back and they said that once they change it, they are the only ones able to change the code as they put some sort of password lockout in the chip so that no one else can change it.

1qckser,

post the phone number or a website for them so I can contact them if you are really interested in their ECU services. I am somewhat interested to see what they would do to a JWT tuned ECU as it should be already maxed out. If I have some time on a Saturday morning...I might just go pay them a visit. It will probably be a couple of weeks before I could get over there as my car is going under the knife starting this weekend to get all the mods done and will be down every Saturday until all the mods are done...hopefully done in 2 or 3 weeks....biggest part waiting to get will be the 4.08 rearend. Should be here in about 2 weeks as they just received my core today that I bought off ebay and sent to them

Maybe it is an ex-employee of Stillen, or JWT, or even Nissan.

I am interested.

I need to get a donor ECU & TCU off of eBay.

There is a performance shop, in Georgia, that has a yard full of 300ZX na & TT parts cars.

I may get a rear end out fo one of the na cars, to see how difficult the swap would be. They came with the 4.08 rear gears. They also have a guy, that does mods to the auto trannys. There is a guy there with 600 RWHP (They have a dyno), and an automatic! He has 1000 miles on the car, and is using the stock torque converter. If his 30ZXTT lives very long, I might get that guy to build me a transmission for my Q.

Jeff - Check out the 4.08 thread - Z rearend is a no go.

However, BRM has a source for the swap, just find a donor Q rearend.

We're both looking for an ECU.

Off topic,

How many people would be interested in putting a deposit on a Sway bar set. The company I am going through will not make a kit unless I can gaurantee atleast 25 people interested.

It will be 32mm front bar, and 27mm rear bar.

These bars will be made by ST but they will not sell them unless a buinsness makes the order for their company. I got a local company in Milpitas, California that will make the order, but they still would have to order a minimum of 25.

The 32mm and the 27mm can be changed. If you guys think a different size would work better let me know before I start the process. Now it will take a while they said between 60 to 90 days, and they will make all 25 to the same specs so the proper specs would be ordered.

I know everyone says do research.... BUT... if people want this to move quickly I need quick imput so I can know what to do.
