Aftermarket / OEM Seat Warmers

I have the 2011 Nissan Rogue SV. Mine did not come with any seat warmer. I've thought about adding them to the vehicle.

Has anyone had any experience with this? My seats are leather. My concern is, since this vehicle didn't come with it, is there any risk (i.e. fire risk) adding some.

Also, for those who have done it, is there any input as to which would be better, finding a OEM seat warmer or using a 3rd party seat warmer?

They make aftermarket seat warmers. I would check with a dealer and see who they recommend. I have seen them installed on all types of vehicles.

Keep in mind that many installers will refuse to install seat heaters on the passenger seat cushion bottom. This is due to possible interference with the Occupant Classification Sensor used for the airbags.
