I'm new to the forum world so please bear with me. I was recently gifted a Pioneer Double Din stereo with Bluetooth. What would I need to purchase to get the most out of features like steering wheel controls, rearview camera and bluetooth/USB?

I was just on Crutchfield.com hoping to find an answer but they don't list the 2013 Rogue Special Edition AWD.

Did you call Crutchfield? Can you go to a local car stereo installer? Most of those guys are happy to help and sell you accessories even if you do the work yourself.

I actually just finished chatting with crutchfield. The rep says I would lose my back up camera even though the new stereo supports it.

Welcome.

Let's say, just for the sake of argument, that you've got an SV model. Technically speaking the 'Special Edition' is an upgraded 'S' model, so it's more than an 'S' but less than an 'SV'.

IIRC, the double-din opening was made slightly larger starting with the 2012 model. Although mounting kits made for previous years will work, you will have a small gap. The #1 maker for radio replacement installation stuff is Metra Electronics.

There's a number of detailed threads on replacing audio equipment in 1st gen Rogue's:

Scroll about halfway down the page for the audio stuff.

Hey JJMondesi

Welcome to the forum

I can sort of relate to you since i had a 13' special edition too and had my pioneer avic added to it but i guess yours came with the 4'' screen
you can contact the guys at Sonic electronix for your rear view camera if you want to keep the factory one
And for your steering wheel control you will need a Steering Wheel Control Adapter by axxess (links below)
and for the rear view i had a high definition since the factory camera isnt the best anyways
for usb if you have one on your radio you should be able to run the cable to the glove box

P.s If your are not sure get professional help . :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle: :chuckle:
