aftermarket intake??

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I don't see lots of topics about the bolt-on you can put on the ex. Perso i planning to put an intake to hear the vq screaming at wot,but haven't make my choice yet. I've seen the stillen gen2 that fits the ex. I would prefer the 3rd gen but they say it's no fit for the ex. probably most of the sri for the g35hr/37 could fit. Wich one do you prefer??

thanks

From what I heard, it does not benefit you much. maybe 1 or 2 hp ? If you have an AWD, I would rather buy a cheap airfilter and changed it every 3k miles. Save the money on the right car such as the BMW 135i , which is my plan after paying off my AWD EX35. The 135i is the cheapest bat out of hell with luxury package...Pretty much cheaper than the EX35 JOURNEY -

or maybe by then, I much prefer the softer ride of Prius.

Dig through some of the threads, I know some members have installed the Stillen on the EX but power gains are not significant. I bought some K&N air filters and feel the engine a bit more responsive (since the filter are less restrictive than paper based filters) and I saw about 0.50-1.5 better MPG (depending on my driving style that week).
