Not yet, but I have an intense desire to make one, specifically a carbon fiber one. It'll be a while coming though, developing such a thing properly takes a good amount of time and it'd be mostly for a turbo setup.

Yeah, sadly there is quite a hole in the market for a KA intake manifold, and its something that I think could REALLY help. The only ones Ive ever seen have been custom and incredibly simple. I think with some more serious development time some big high rpm gains could be had.

Not really a huige need...as most KA's can't sustain the RPM needed for an intake mani to be beneficial.

Manifold with short runners and a large plenum will kill your low end, and may help at 5000 and above...then you shift at 7000.

Unlike an SR, or Honda motor with 8500rpm to play with...we'd see very little gain from big *** intake manifold, until you reached some rediculous power level.

Not necessarily a "big *** intake manifold" but something properly designed with shorter runners and tuned to work best from 4-7k sure would be nice I think :) I'm going to have to do mathematics though to figure this crap out

Yep.. I'm gonna build one this summer. If you tune the runners properly, you can get both a low-end and upper end gain.

I found a good website that went into a little bit of math, but I decided I'll just have to buy a book for more credible reliability. Here's a good site: http://rogueperformance.com/Up...tml#a

I suppose these articles will also be beneficial:

I got a 23.98 inch intake runner with 248 cam, 3000 rpm, 4 bounces, and a 1 inch diameter runner.then I went and measured the runner on my ka24de. roughly 18 inches.

I wonder how much this would help performance

Don't forget to add the distance between the runner and the valve, and also the runner to the side of the plenum(where it'll bounce from)
