is there any alternatives other than the greddy intake manifold which supposedly leans out at 5 and 6 cyl.

The leaning out issue is being over stressed, if you are making massive power (700+) you may see a problem, but there are plenty people making good power without any issues.

what's your email address? There are a few Intake manifolds, like top hat and a DIY set sometimes on Ebay.

RBTALLY, I see you use part of the factory plenum, which is awesome. I was thinking of having that done and I'm glad to see pictures of it! Would you happen to be selling your services??

flow testing is being done at the moment. expecting around the 280-300cfm mark for all runners.

price is $AU950 plus delivery which is usually $AU100 depending on how fast you want it delivered. throttle body is additional, but not cheap.

ISL33P: how thick is the aluminum sheet you're using, and do you have a picture of the inside?

it is 3mm sheet. any more and its overkill.

pics of inside i keep to myself for now until testing is complete and i am happy with the design. but they do have slightly tapered bellmouths on the inside and matched to get each cylinder to flow as evenly as the next

WOW $AU1150 = $864.97 (USD) well might as well order the Greddy.

thats what i was thinking. maybe if we lived over there, it would work out?

and too bad no one has flow tested the greddy to help compare

*hint hint, wink wink*

i am getting around to the flow testing of the greddy item. but from customers that have now switched to my plenum from the greddy, they have said not to bother with the greddy as had a very small impact on the cars driveability or power.

AND you have to have a custom TB that "isn't cheap" .... Nah just wait and go with RBtallys if he gets around to selling a few.

For the 20, it's a cheaper alternative to the RIPS ones, at around $1,100.

+1 for wanting to see flow charts of the GReddy to use as comparisons... and while we're at it... the stock manifold...

performance (to me at least) isnt that huge. i really just want a manifold that isnt over the top. the stock just gets in the way. it blocks my top mount manifold. also causes the cold pipe to bake on the valve cover.

and it doesnt look that great!

anyways, let us know. aftermarket support is always wanted!

300plus - $950 + $100 = $1,050 not $1,150. they can be made to fit any tb you like, from stock to q45 to custom.

i have already flow tested the std inlet/plenum and greddy/cpc will be coming soon.

that was the very first one i made. the new one will have more tapering towards the rear.
