aftermarket intake dohc pipe vs. sohc pipe

How different are they? I know the little "nipples" for the tubes might be in a different place, but if thats the case, I'll just re-route the rubber tubes. From the looks of it, it seems that the intake to throttle part is just twisted down instead of level like the sohc. I'll just get a dohc ebay intake tube and a k&n filter if the pipes arent that different.

I wanted to do the intake/battery relocation, but Im still looking for a detailed faq right now.

Yes, it would make it a whole lot easier...if they made them for sohc on ebay.

no they will not fit. and yes, there is a short ram intake for the sohc that goes through ebay now and again.

That must be VERY rare, cause Ive never seen one. At least that actually WILL fit sohc, cause the ones that mention 89-90 are also listed for 91-94 as well.

Ive been eyeing that one for a couple of days now...to bad I dont have the money now, and too bad shipping is $35

there's another one on e-bay, although it says it's for the dohc, the picture shows the sohc engine bay with the intake on there. it looks really crappy, as if it were home made but i think it'll do the same thing as the other intakes.
