Aftermarket In-Dash Navigation and factory rear view camera

I have a 2011 Rogue SV w/out Navi. If I buy an aftermarket in-dash dvd/navigation, can the factory rear view camera work with it? Does it just plug into the aftermarket unit?

I posted a how-to wire up the factory backup camera into an aftermarket deck just a few threads down. It's kind of tedious, but worked awesome.
