aftermarket HU bose adapter

do any of you guys know if the adapter makes your sound quality go down then what the bose is already is stock?

I actually just installed this same product into my 01 Qx4 with bose. I think the audio is solid and you can use those gain adjustments to tweak your sound. I am sure adding all new speakers and an amp would definitely be better but I know for sure that the sound quality with an aftermarket head unit blows the stock system out of the water. It didn't take too long to install either which was nice.
