Here, check out this thread. zerothread?id=110969

The Hella supertones are about 90 dollars.

The Fiamm 130 db horns seem to be a good deal. 14 bucks at Pepboys a piece and JC Whitney carries them as well. High and Low tones.

Just installed mine tonight, but my engine harness isn't in yet so I still haven't heard them. Give me about a week.

I got the Blazer Extra Loud horns from Autozone. One high tone, one low tone. These mount right into the factory locations and plug right up to the factory wiring. Supposedly 132dB, haven't confirmed that, but they are definitely louder and have a more aggressive tone than stock. Only thing I had to change to get them to fit was bend the bracket for a little extra clearance. Oh yeah, $16 apiece.

what about just pulling some old ones off some cars at a junk yard? does more horns mean its going to be louder , or can it only power so many. il mount 3 or 4 of them on there if the car can push the watts to it.

I had those horns on my Maxima for a little while. The only thing is that they kinda sounded like a Taco-Mobile. I drove into a neighborhood that was under construction. A dog ran out in front of me, so I honked the horns. When I did so, a good bit of the hispanics working on the houses immediately stopped what they were doing and ran towards the road and waited for something. Well, I took up to Spanish 5 in high school, so I stopped and asked what they were doing. They said that they heard the mobile Taco-mobile's horns coming up the street and they are waiting for it so they can eat lunch. Well, I laughed and honked my horn for them. They all laughed.

I went home and that evening took the air-horns off and replaced them with the factory units.

That is just my opinion about them. To each their own.......

taco mobile? lmao!never heard of thatat before. Anyway, they are louder than stock which is what I was going for. And, at $16 they are a great deal. I an looking ofr some loder, deeper ones though. Something chrome maybe?

There is a train air horn selling on ebay but it's over $200. they Weight of the compressor is another issue as well.
