Hey guys, I hate to have to do this, I really do. The Z is beautiful in every way as is but for clearence reasons I am lookin at getting an aftermarket hood, preferable is carbon fiber as I will not need to paint it. Cost is irrelevant at this point if the build haha :S I need a little more clearence in the centre if the plenum, right above the lower intake and above the center of the timing belt covers. I don't need one but it would make things easier to fit that 90mil tb in there. Really post anything up but I'll tell you now I don't like rice and not the massive cowl induction, hence my own difficulty in finding one that works.

Thanks guys :bigthumb:

I think your best bet would be to shoot an email over to Matt.

Might have gotten lucky with the BDE motor mounts, guys are saying they drop the motor a little bit which is what I need, more clearance up top for that massive intake manifold the machinist is making for me. If not then I'll need the hood. Time will tell.

I'm hoping you don't have to get one. If you can pull it off without swapping the hood that'd be best in my opinion. Keep us updated on the progress! I'm really interested on how this thing'll turn out!
