Aftermarket HID Foglights = Bad FM Reception?

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

I installed my HID fog lights a few night ago and noticed my FM radio was acting up. XM & AM seem to be unaffected. I mounted my ballast literally below the lowbeams where the "dust cap" is, just ziptied them next to another set of wires. My headlight ballasts are less than a foot apart and has no affect on it. Anyone know why or where exactly the FM antenna is located? Couldn't imagine it being near under headlights or near the windshield washer tank. Here is a quick video (Don't mind the music, just whatever is on the radio). If you look ahead through the windshield you can see the fog lights turn on and off (as well as reception going from clear to static).

my radio is behaving similarly to the problem you mentioned especially when i first turn on the HID. the initial surge of current creates frequency that disrupts my FM signal and then slowly going away, but i notice that FM with HID on isn't as clear as FM with HID off. this problem is only appearance when i get weak FM signal but with a strong FM signal, i do not notice it.
