aftermarket headunit/ speedo

I have an rb25 s13 with a pioneer avic head unit that has a speed signal wire to monitor speed.

Do i wire the headunit signal wire between speed sensor -- speedo
or do i wire it into the wire between the speedo--ecu

between speedo---ecu will be easiest for you
