I've read a lot of the old threads on this subject, and many of them touched briefly on my questions, but I didn't ever get final answers out of them. I hope this isn't a rehash of old questions.

If I replace the factory nav head unit on my 2011 Rogue (non-Bose), will I:

1: Easily be able to use the factory mic?
2: Easily be able to use the factory backup camera?
3: Related to 2, even if I can get the backup camera plugged in, how does the head unit know I'm in reverse, and know to switch to the backup camera's input?

Everything else seems pretty straight forward: steering wheel controls, center console aux and USB (if I want to run the connections), etc.

Thanks for any help.

1: I doubt you would be able to use as most aftermarket head units have their own mic that you run and wire.
2: Yes you can. It's kinda easy. I'm posting a thread about my install in my 2012.
3: Trigger is in the harness, it's 12v+. Wired to the backup wire on the aftermarket deck, it auto flips when it sees voltage.
