does anybody have any pictures of their completed stereo install they'd be willing to post and share? i'm starting to give some serious consideration to an aftermarket system, and would really like to see how integrated (or not) the final solutions for head units are. thanks.

This is what an DIN eclipse headunit looks like when its in a Gen ! Q.

It fits into a double dIN adapter bin , where the bottom part has CD slots (5 or 6 I think).

At first it looked kinda iffy but I got a Bezel ( installer had some in stock) one of which matched the dash's anthatrcite well.

With this Bezel surounding the Double DIN adapter bin. it looked pretty good.

The eclipse headuntio was run w/ eclipse speakers.

Fred...:)

On one of the yahoo infiniti-related forums, a guy with a J30 installed a double-DIN Eclipse system. It had a 5-6" LCD screen built right into the face of the unit, but without the sloppy slide-in slide-out nonsense, and below a knob, some buttons, and a DVD slot. Had a TV tuner as well. It was a while ago when I saw it (6 months) but worth seeking. Looks VERY clean.
