Hi, I ordered a black mesh grille I've seen lots of cars on the website with the same. I took it to a shop to get it painted and they told me it didnt line up at all, I went to the shop and sure enough it didn't line up on there it looks like there should be a top part from the top of the grill to the hood.

NIAL08CMG is the part number on the listing.
heres a link to the page.

Any ideas would be much appreciated I'd hate to be stuck with this and not be able to use it.

thanks,
Mo

Thats the standard C Mod, I know there are certain issues with clips but never anything that major with fitment. Your Altima Coupe is an 08 or 09?

its an 08. if u look at the pics it came with the grill thats in the first picture but if u look at the others there a piece that kinda fits from the hood to the grill like a long double ended L is there somewhere im supposed to order that piece? I've seen so many cars on this web site with it, so I'm hoping to find an answer.

If you are talking about the piece dead center behind the mesh, that is the bumper support bar and it is a stock piece of the bumper. If you dont have one and you are not the first owner of the car, the previous owner cut it out so that it wouldnt show through an aftermarket grille like the C Mod.

Anyway, that bar should not effect the fitment. Can you take some pics of the problem you are having?

The gap between the hood and the very top of the bumper? It looks fine to me, thats how it is supposed to be.

Not seeing an issue...

Thats all part of the stock OEM bumper.

Can you take some pics of your actual car with the issue.

Doubtful. Im still having trouble understanding what is missing. All of those pieces are part of the OEM stock bumper and should be there. Unless the new bumper they gave is damaged somehow.

I think I understand what's happening here. DJBeasy is correct, that's all part of the stock bumper. There's nothing wrong there.

But when I bought my grille, I had to trim the upper tabs on the grille to get it to line up with the stock holes. I've heard of quite a few people having to do that. So there's nothing wrong or missing. Just needs to be trimmed probably.

I would remove my car from their facility immediately. If they cant order the correct parts, they cant install or paint them either.

nah I ordered the bumper for a parts place they got it for me wrapped in bubble wrap and plastic and I never unwrapped it until I was at the shop. So its more my fault then theirs but still theirs. The shop sanded on the bumper and the parts store is still gunna take and eat the difference in price for their mistake on ordering it. I'm totally satisfied the correct bumper will be there in the morning for me to swap and get painted and the grill will fit..... ahhhh its nice to have this sorted out. Thanks for the comments!
