I want to make my G stand out where I live. The next step, for me, is to change out the obnoxious front grill with something different. I have found a couple carbon fiber grills online, as well as a few billet grills. Can anyone help me out with links to reliable sources on the net, for aftermarket grills?

Why don't you like it? Will it fit on an '05? Is it the same carbon fiber from Ionic Dynamics?

Personally i like the stock grille, thats why I'm buying a used one. This is my opinion but i think the billet ones look gaudy. The carbon fiber ones look very similar to mine but are kinda pointless if you don't have a Carbon fiber hood. I think your car looks really nice. Put that money towards some performance mods. ^_~

Just my opinion.

My plan is to go for the CF hood, but I got to take small steps towards that. After the grill I'm gonna go for the performance mods, but I have to make my stuff look different first. After the grill I want to get a Z-tube and short shift. I plan to take the back badging off and night shade the tail lights here in a couple of weeks. Little things first, then the expensive stuff.

Ive seen people take the emblem off. Spray paint the grill black and then put back on the chrome emblem. It looks sick and i might do that to my car. Cost you like $50 at maaco to spray the grill. Cheap and sexy mod to customize your ride.

If money is an issue, just spray paint the stock grille, I think it looks awesome. But if you have money to spend, I'd say get the gialla grille. Or to make your car stand out more, and depending on your color, get the top secret front body kit or kenstyle http://www.silviaparts.com/body-kits/infiniti/g35/

I like the stock grill, problem is mine is chipped up so bad that it looks terrible, not even 10000 miles. Not sure what to do, anyone else have the chipping issue, I do drive on the highway a lot but still it's so new there is no reason for how bad it looks.

Buy a used one from online. People are always puting aftermarket ones on. Just have them post a pic before you buy it.

So really, the options are a Billet, Gialla or Carbon Fiber grille for the G?

Please paint the billet if you get one. The silver ones are fugly!!! Especially since every Pathfinder, Maxima, QX56...etc has one.

I'm very satisfied with my replica gialla grill. It's not much but it stands out from stock Gs. Haha when we had the meet at Newport pier (I was there early) I got so many compliments from random people

My grille came Black Chrome from the factory - you can see the difference in the finish between the Black Chrome of the grille and the regular chrome emblem. So the only bright chrome on my car are the emblems.
