I'm a newbie, but was hoping you gents can offer some assistance.

I just purchased a 08 g35. I had to sacrifice some options to get it at my price range. I found the pioneer f90bt which I think is amazing, but was wondering if installing the f90bt would void my cars warranty? I searched the forum and did some googling and what I came up with for other warrantys is that if the modification cannot be proven to have caused the defect than they cant deny you your warranty. Is this the case with infiniti?

Does anyone have any experience installing this unit in a late model g? Will it even fit in the recessed dash?

Any answers would be greatly appreciated, thanks for your time.

It would not void your warranty at all. The worst that could happen is that if you blew out a speaker or something, then it wouldn't be covered, but it no way shape or form would any mechanical issue or what not no longer be covered. Like you said, they have to prove it caused the problem, and your dealer would be hard pressed to prove your headunit caused your brakes to fail or something

Has anyone here installed after market head units on an 07 or newer g35? Just curious how hard it is because some of the installation places i've called are making it seem like it will be difficult.
