Depends on what you are trying to do specifically. Most standalone nav uniots are small and may not integrate nicely into the cubby if you're looking for an install that would mimic the OE look. Most people upgrade with aftermarket stereo headunits that have navigation capabilities. These generally have their own screens.
One product pops into mind as a possibilty though. Kenwood makes a factory integration device that appears to have the ability to be tailored for a specific application. It can work as a standalone or be integrated into the factory stereo. You can add a touchscreen display or use a factory screen. It can do navigation but requires an additional nav unit. The touchscreen is extra. You could easily be in over $2K with such a system. However, if you have a plan to comprehensively upgrade your sound system while keeping the factory stereo functions, it may be worth a look as it also adds a small built-in amp and 3 sets of 5V preouts. It also adds USB inputs (great for using flash drives with MP3's on them), aux inputs and can switch video (external DVD player or perhaps a back-up camera). But unless you're adamant about having the navigation display up in the cubby, there are far cheaper options that simply replace the factory headunit (which will locate the screen there). Its possible that there may be a headunit compatible with a touchscreen that might be able to display the nav on a seperate screen up in the cubby, but I haven't looked into this myself and would likely be someone what costly still.
Here's a couple of links to the Kenwood stuff I mentioned though:
