like always i try to use the search button before i post on here..i know how touchy you guys are..but the search gave me nothing..i even searched on google...

but anyways..i did a whole day of reseach on fuel filters and pumps...i narrowed it down to either the Barry Grant BG5000 fuel filter or the SX performance 41002 fuel filter..SX performance is looking better...only .178 drop in PSI at 80 gph..

I need a new fuel filter and I thought I would try an aftermarket filter instead of the 300zx filter.

both filters come with -10 AN inlet and outlet..i know for a fact my fuel lines are not that thick...both filters come with adapters that will reduce the inlet/outlet to -6 or -8 AN....

""what advantages or disadvantages are there if i go with the -10 AN hose??""

..i'm pretty sure the hardline from the tank to the engine bay is not -10 and i'm sure the opening on the fuel rail is not -10 AN as well. . should i just get the adapter and reduce it to a -6 or -8 AN...

i don't have any mods in my S14..i just upgraded the suspension and brakes...doing all that i can before i do an engine swap...

thanks for the help...

Not sure about the -10 or any thing like that. But i do know that the rubber house is about 5/16 high pressure line. The reason that I know that is because i had to replace it on my s13 do to the aftermarket fuel filter that i put on it.
