Aftermarket fog lights on S14 LE

So I got some aftermarket headlights, and wanted to use my pre-existing fog light cables to install them, seems simple enough, but I tried to splice the wires and no power, I know there is power going to them because i just took out the original fog light (the other one fell out) so I dont see the problem, anyone have any ideas?
