Aftermarket Exhaust systems illegal in IL?

Anyone get a ticket or something yet with aftermarket exhaust systems on in Illinois? Apparently they are illegal here. Which kinda kills my plan for getting one now. Don't really wanna get into any trouble.

Just get an aftermarket exhaust and a stock, or near stock looking muffler. If it looks OE and it sounds close to oe you can claim it is and any noise is just an exhaust leak that might not actually fly with the cops near you but its worth a shot (depending on how high the fine is where you are)
