Aftermarket exhaust manifold for RB??

Hey I was just thinking, I don't remember anyone talking about an aftermarket exhaust manifold? Is there even one made for the 25 or 20.... and would it be worth it or is that stock good enough...

There are a couple out there, there is a company called SSautochrome here in NC that makes them and I believe Vudodoc (http://www.dragdriftautox.com) was talking about having some made.

Yeah someone on here has a SS RB20 turbo manifold. LOoks bling bling but some question the build quality. I dont know about the RB25. I am sure some Japanese or Australian website has em

a long time ago i saw some on EBAY being sold by the OBX ssautochrome... I think they sell the same sr bottom mount ones that always break so i was thinking of getting it and having the guys that made my sr manifold either make it stronger or copy it... well any way I didnt get it at the time and they arnt very good about returning emails so.... plus i could tell they knew nothing about rb motors because they advertised it for the rb20-det lol and didnt say anything about the big brother rb25det. so if any one has any hook ups or lives in NC (hint hint) and wants to stop by and talk to them about a group buy and warrinty let me know or what ever I want a aftermarket mani too. only problem with all ready made rb25 manifold is they set the turbo to far back.. on the JDM cars its ok.. due to the brake booster and streering being on the other side.. someones gonba have to come up with a 240 Rb specific manifold.. that werks around those parts

anyone got a pic from the top directly over the turbo showing the brake booster clearance issue with a rb20det stock as i think the ssautochrome ones are stock replacemet rb20 side mount turbo placement.

I'm going to get some made form my rb20. Going to try for a bottom mount non equal length as the cost of the labor would break me altho it would look bad ***.

I converted the price and it comes to $1360, I hope vududoc can hook it up for a good price...

anyways are there any other companies or is greddy the only company out there that retails manifolds for the RB??

can do easily blue fire. im still looking around but there are ones out there. ive found a few but the price you'd pay and the way it would look in your engine bay leave much to be desired. OBX makes a bunch for the SR that are really nice but no catering to the RB....too bad cause for the price its a great buy at practically a third of the Greddy.

the Greddy one will never fit .. the sr manifold in the picture wont even clear the brake booster with the waistgate pipe cut all the way off. we are going to have to come up with a custom one made to fit the usdm engine bay.

We actually started designing one for 240s but it took too much time so we never finished. If anyone wants to buy a steel flange i have two i will sell for $120 each. They are laser cut and look nice. Email me for a pic. Thanks

we over at TREVTEC MS.. as of yesterday.. are designing tubular manifolds for BOTH RB and SR powered USDM 240's.. that will clear the brake booster and streering rack.. as soon as we finsh the first ones.. i will post pics asap
