My car was broken into and I need a new window for my driver's side. Any recommendations against using an aftermarket part??

I know windshields are generally a no-no, but what about this?

Windshields are only a no-no because of the Lane Camera and/or rain sensors. There are generally no problems with aftermarket side glass.

Thanks for the reply. I'm looking at my sig and while my windows aren't supposed tinted, does Infiniti put some kinda film on there?

I once had issue with a different vehicle where the tint on the aftermarket brake light wasn't a exact match a didn't notice till months later. I'd rather pay more to keep everything consistent.

The tint is probably a dealer add-on, that's common practice. You can have a tint guy match it up.

Good to know. The difference in price is honestly shocking.

I got a quote for 300cnd from a mobile repair guy someone recommended, and Infiniti quoted me 1000cnd just for the glass. If this was my beater I wouldn't think twice, but this car gets special consideration so I wanted to ask the pros.
