Aftermarket Double Din in a 05+ Nav Coupe?

Can a DD HU be installed in a 05+ with factory nav? If so would I lose any factory functions with either the nav or radio?

I'm fairly certain that you can dump the factory deck and replace it with a DD aftermarket one. You will need the AC controller from JDM. Try this site: http://www.grubbsperformance.c...ERIOR

For some reason, the aftermarket controller doesn't have a "dual" button, but the functionality is there. You have to remove your stock button, and solder it to the aftermarket JDM one...

Why can't we just use the ac unit we already have?

The OEM HU and the climate controls are wired to the same circuit board and need to be separated in order to install an aftermarket HU.
