Aftermarket deck installation problems! help please!

I've installed the deck and it works but i cant seem to find where to connect the Illumination wire that comes from of the deck.Right now the buttons are dark at night so if anyone has suggestions i would appreciate it. Thanx!

If you are using an aftermarket wiring adapter/plug to connect to the factory harness, the orange wire is for on/off illumination and/or the orange/white stripe is for dimmer illumination. If you do not have these wires, you would have to splice into the vehicle harness.

If you carefully read the post above, the Nissan dash illumination/dimmer system MAY NOT be compatible with your deck. If you decide to connect it, you do so at your own risk. If it doesn't work, your dash lights won't work or worse yet you damage the dimmer controls and/or blow fuses. The dimmer controls are built into the dash gauge cluster (speedometer, tach, etc). It's is replaced as an entire unit... about $500 plus the dealer must install it and 'program' it so it will work correctly.
