Somebody was looking to add cruise control to their Versa... I don't recall who it was. Anyway, JC Whitney has what you're looking for, an aftermarket cruise control unit by Audiovox. I guess you can go to jcwhitney.com and take a look... it's $125 by the way. Interestingly, as I'm looking at it in the catalog, it states the device will work in all cars, light trucks and SUVs, with the exception of Hondas. Kinda funny... Good luck!

Does it say Versa specifically. It may exclude Hondas because of the TBW. A cruise system designed for a car with a throttle cable won't work in one without one.

It doesn't specifically say "Versa", but as I said, it does say "...all cars, pickups....", etcetera... with the exception of Hondas. Best bet no doubt would be to call to check whether it will work with the Versa, but I wouldn't expect any aftermarket mod to list the Versa specifically, as the car is very new and too small a segment at present to target specifically. Anyway, for those interested, check jcwhitney.com. As I already have cruise control, I'm not overly inclined to investigate further to be honest, but if anyone would like to let others interested in adding cruise control know whether the unit is compatible with the Versa, please do so. Later!

Well, good news and bad news... Good news is, I'm a nicer guy than I let on, and checked to see whether the cruise systems JC Whitney has will work with the Versa. Bad news is that none of them do at present. Maybe someone knows of another place you can get the cruise control add-ons you're looking for, as I have no other ideas. Sorry 'bout that!

After my road trip, I am going to ask the dealer if the factory setup can be added. I will let you know.

Will not work on vehicles with throttle or drive-by-wire systems--(must have an actual throttle cable)

There's no real aftermarket cruise option for the V. This is the big downfall of the '07 S... the '08 S will have cruise as an option.

I was the one looking into it...

But that's a shame it won't work, Thanks for remembering my quest though.
