aftermarket coolant overflow

hey guys so my coolant overflow was cracked so i ended up getting a smaller aftermarket one. the problem is its sealed besides the hose that connects from the radiator. would this design not relieve pressure well enough? should i drill a hole towards the top of the tank to relieve pressure better?
