i wred my autometer boost gauge today. it pins at about 10 vacuum when it should be at like 30.. andd wont go past 0 into boost when my car is spooling hard.. i 'T'd" off the boost solenoid line which runs across the top of my engine bay... what the problem? i dont think the line istelf is kinked.. should i choose a different T Location?

Vacuum should actually be at 16-21 depending on altitude. If your not boosting above 0 either you have a huge boost leak or the line going to the gauge is kinked or hooked up incorrectly.

You should be able to T it in one of your lines like the size of the one going to your FPR, and will be fine. Try taking it out of your car and hooking with a small line in the engine bay. Then turn on the car see what happens. Also your car will not produce boost unless it is under load, so reving it and expecting it to show boost just will not happen. The factory gauge is notorious for not working correctly, can't rely on that.
