Aftermarket body kit and OEM foam, do i need it?

I put on my aftermarket bumper which fit fine, but was a pain to get on, and then after all that drilling and etc I realized I forgot the stock OEM foam that came from my old bumper. Do I really need it? Would it be worth the trouble to remove and add? Thanks
