I got the SL FWD Premium and of course I don't have the bluetooth option. I would like to keep the Bose system and add the bluetooth feature to it. I know that the Nissan dealer has some aftermarket bluetooth but I'm sure they are overpriced.

Anyone have a brand that has worked with the stereo?

From my experience you can get portable gps with bluetooth which will not satisfy you or you can replace your unit with aftermarket radio. I sold about a month ago my pioneer avic-d3x which didn't satisfy me because navigation all the time required the DVD disk. A lot of people giving good feedback about kenwood. So I would suggest you to look at kenwood. Seems to be kenwood boots faster than pioneer and have better microphone for bluetooth.

The only Bluetooth interface that will work with the factory Bose system is the one supplied on bluetooth models. To retrofit, you would have to add the parts, ie bluetooth module, mic, steering wheel controls, etc from Nissan. Definitely not cheap or easy.

If all you want is a handsfree speakerphone and voice activated dialing, then look for a standalone device. My wife has a Blueant Supertooth Light. http://myblueant.com/supertoot...e.htm. It clips to the sunvisor and give her a handsfree speakerphone. There is also the Supertooth 3 which adds voice activated dialing. http://myblueant.com/s3_handsfree.htm

Parrot makes similar systems: http://www.parrot.com/usa

Good luck and kudos for wanting a handsfree... keep both hands on the wheel and eyes on the road!

I just received email from thinkgeek. They offer retro bluetooth audio cassette. Of course we don't have cassette player in Rogue but it just so funny I think. I'm not sure how is it going to work. http://www.thinkgeek.com/gadge...g=87H

After using the Bluetooth in the Rogue my wife wanted one for her PT Cruiser. I got her the Blue Ant Supertooth 3. It works great for her. You can even upload your phone directory to it and it will announce who is calling. Just say OK and you are talking. Pretty nice unit for not alot of money. It also comes with an extra visor clip so you can swap it between cars.
