Aftermarket Bluetooth - Motorola T605

I have a Bluetooth MP3 player that I use in my 06 M35x w/Bose. I've connected it using a Scosche Bluetooth adapter to the aux-in. After finally getting the output voltage of it down so it wasn't clipping, I realized what a P.O.S. the unit is...it's noisy and has lots of distortion, native to the unit, not a problem with the car. Unfortunately, there aren't many other options. One that I am considering is the Motorola T605 unit. It requires an adapter harness kit, which I have finally found online at nicestuffonline.com. Given the poor experience I've had with the Scosche option, I'm a bit concerned about trying something else, especially at ~$300 for module and adapter harnesses. Anybody have experience with the Moto unit and adapter harness?
