I just got my 2.5S a month or so ago and i'm looking to add a sub or 2 to the factory bose stereo....does anyone have any advice on what subs would work well and most importantly, fit into the tiny a** trunk

Pictures would be wonderful

Several guys have setups similar to this and with my amp under the carpet I have tons of room still!

If you want an alternative idea, you can try what i did. So i went to the local audio shop armed with my own subs and amp but loved their memphis subs so much i bought those instead. So im running a Kenwood Amp with Memphis 10' Subs. They bump like no tomorrow its awesome. Some things to consider with this car setup and bumping with nice quality subs:
1. Custom Sub Box - made especially for our car and will not take too much room in your car, it matches the carpet, and it looks clean and nice (plus you get 2 little pockets of space to store stuff in behind the enclosure)
2. Dynamat that s*** because you dont want too much rattling
3. I recommend drilling 2 more bottom license plate holes and bolting all four corners in to reduce that rattling as well.

I would send pictures but im at a friends house so feel free to message me directly if you want me to send some pictures ! hope this helps

PS. Touch Screen Head units are always Amazing

I put the JL Micro sub CP208LG-W3v3 into my new Altima paired with a Alpine MRV-M500 amp and it freakin rocks!!! Sounds better than any other set up I have owned and I have owned plenty of 10s and 12s. The best part is that it takes up virtually no room at all. If you want any more bass than what this set up produces, you will not be able to hear your music at all. Try this set up out. It will not disappoint!

It seems as though a custom "side" install is the most space efficient way of going about adding a sub to the existing stereo. The trunk space in the coupe is dismal compared to the Accord coupe. :gapteeth:
