Whats up everyone? Love the forum here. Just have a couple audio questions to those who can answer. I have an 06 (in storage at a friend's with its cousin, the 350z, since its finally winter here in MI) without the Bose system. I didn't get it because I knew I'd be going with aftermarket audio and I'm not a particular fan of Bose car audio, so a waste of money. With spring coming up in all of about 3 more months, I'm going through withdrawl and getting antsy and want to start working on the car when it warms up so she's all set for the summer.
First, is the Bose set up in the 04 the same in the 06 (mainly the 6x9s on the rear deck) and does anyone know if there is a difference in the rear deck (ie mounting points with/without the bose system)? Basically I want to put 6x9s into a car without the Bose and wondering if I can do it without modifying/drilling. Secondly, if anyone else has gone aftermarket, what did you get for the doors and tweeters so I can get an idea of the amount of depth I have to work with?
And randomly, a question on tinting: how dark have people gone with the black interior? Pics would be nice.

It would appear the Non-Bose Coupes don't have rear deck speakers, only the rear side speakers. I'm not sure if the cutouts exists in the shelf. You might try pulling off the cover in the trunk to see.
For speaker fitment, I tend to use Crutchfield's site to determine which speakers will fit without modifications.
As for tinting, I had 15% on a black on black G. Plenty of privacy and probably as dark as I would want to go as it's already hard enough to see out the back while backing without any tint. I had 5% tint on a car once and looked great, but couldn't see anything at night. I'll try to post up pics when I get back on my own PC.
